How can we help you?

Q: When will my order ship?

A: Our team is hard at work processing orders every day. We try our hardest to get orders shipped out the same day we receive them, however, some seasons are extremely busy. Thank you for giving us an extra 5-7 days to fulfill your order, should inventory need to be restocked. We will do our best to make you aware of any delays.

Q: What are your shipping policies?

A: Our products are perishable, so we take extra steps to ensure freshness. Orders are shipped Monday through Wednesday via FedEx, UPS or USPS depending on your orders destination. We DO NOT ship to PO Boxes.

Orders placed on Thursday through Sunday will be shipped the following week. Please note that it is the responsibility of the carrier to ensure the safe delivery of your product.

Please plan accordingly if you need your meat delivered by a specific day.

If you are shipping as a gift, please let the recipient know to expect the delivery, so they can be prepared to receive the package in proper condition. Royalty Meat Company will not be responsible for lost or forgotten packages.

Q: How long will it take to receive my order?

A: Your order should arrive within 1 to 3 days after you receive confirmation of your purchase. Delivery times may vary depending on where you live in the United States.

Q: What if my meat is thawed upon delivery?

A: All of our meat is shipped frozen with gel packs, but slight thawing can happen. If your meat is thawed entirely upon arrival, give us a call, and we will work to make it right.

Q: Do you offer subscriptions?

A: We are currently in the process of putting together packages for our monthly subscription program. Sign up for our email list to be the first to know when we roll them out!

Q: Do you offer bulk purchases?

A: Yes! Bulk orders are available, depending on your specific needs. Please give us a call before you place your order. Because of the demand for specific cuts of meat, we want to make sure we can fulfill your request before we accept your order.

Q: Can I pick up my order?

A: Yes! We offer curbside, contact-less pickup. You may also pick up your order inside the store. When you check out, please select the option you want (curbside or in-store) and the day you would like to pick up your order. If you need a same-day pickup, give us a call, and we’ll take care of you!

Q: How will my order be shipped?

A: All meat products are individually vacuum-sealed and frozen to preserve freshness. Meat products are placed in an insulated cooler, packed with gel packs, and shipped in a standard cardboard box. We recommend that you unpack your box as soon as possible and place all the meat in a freezer that you don’t plan to consume within 1 to 2 days to maintain freshness. Gel packs will help ensure the safe handling of your products.

Q: What kind of farms and ranches do you work with?

A: Our goal is to share local, quality Texas products throughout the state and the United States. So, we source all of our products from independent, family farms and ranches in Texas. The families we work with have the highest standards in animal health and well-being.

Q: Do you have 100% grass-fed beef?

A: We currently do not source 100% grass-fed beef, but we’d like to! If you are a Texas rancher who raises grass-fed beef, reach out to us, we’d love to talk to you about a partnership.

Q: The meat had a strange smell when it came out of the vacuum-sealed bag. Why?

A: Vacuum-sealing meat products deprive them of oxygen; when you open the bag, gas is released, sometimes leaving the meat with an unfamiliar smell. Cover the meat loosely and let it air out on the counter for a few minutes, and the smell should fade.

Your meat will smell different than meat you purchase in a grocery store, but it should never smell sour or feel slimy. If it does, let us know so that we may fix your order.

Q: How long can meat last in the refrigerator?

A: On average, you should consume or freeze your vacuum-sealed products within 7 days after you receive your shipment.

– Poultry needs to be consumed or frozen as soon as possible but within 4 days of delivery.

– Pork should be consumed or frozen within 5 days of delivery.

– Beef is different and unique in this case. Whole muscles of beef, not ground, should be eaten or frozen within 10 days. Beef can last longer as long as you watch it to make sure it doesn’t begin to smell sour or feel slimy.

Q: Do you accept returns or refunds?

A: Due to the perishable nature of the products, we do not accept returns. If there is a problem with any part of your order, please give us a call, and we will work to make it right.

Q: How can I tell if my meat arrived in good condition?

A: If the meat is in the vacuum-sealed bag and still mostly frozen, your meat arrived in great condition. A slight thaw on the edges is acceptable, as long as the meat product is frozen throughout.

Q: Why do you ship only frozen meat?

A: Simply put, to keep our products as fresh as possible, so our customers receive the highest quality products, right to their homes.
